This Happened Utrecht #15
"This happened is a series of events about the stories behind good interaction design. Our motto: having ideas is easier than realising them. That's why we dive deeply into 'the making of' recent projects, to see how they handled concept development, the design proces, and of course realisation of the projects, in the hope that we can learn something for our own work.
At each event we show a diverse range of practices, ranging from programming to fashion, from product design to art.
The speakers
For the next This Happened in Utrecht We will be given a look behind the scenes of 4 awesome projects, namely:
- Leonard Verhoef (@leonardverhoef) talks about the Dutch Railways ticket vending machine (aka NS Kaartautomaat).
- Onno Faber (@ogtfaber) talks about the Ding Dong App, which is getting very popular.
- Joris van Tubergen talks about the Kamermaker, a new container-sized 3D printer.
- Lilian Bosch and Hanne Marckmann from Team Sapling, a group of fashion designers, interaction designers and game artists, will talk about UNI2, a interactive installation dealing with textile re-use.
The social aspect is also very important to us, so there's plenty of opportunity for drinks and fun.
