Workshop over Drupal, een modulair open-source CMS voor het bouwen van complexe websites. Setuputrecht.nl is gemaakt met Drupal.

Wat is Drupal?

We kijken naar bekende sites die met Drupal zijn gebouwd, naar de voordelen ten opzicht van andere systemen, naar de toekomstplannen van Drupal, en natuurlijk naar wat je er goed mee kan.

Drupal staat bekend op de stijle leercurve. Zodra je daar eenmaal overheen bent en je het 'snapt', gaat het een stuk sneller. Daarom gaan we vooral ook samen een eerste Drupal website opzetten.

Voorgestelde planning:

  • 09:30 inloop, koffie
  • 10:00 Introductie, uitwisseling van ervaringen. Bepalen casus: wat willen we bouwen. Kijk bijvoorbeeld bij de "16 clones you can build with drupal" link hieronder.
  • 12:00 Lunch
  • 13:00 Hands-on
  • 16:30 Nabespreking
  • 17:00 Borrel
  • 17:30 Einde

What is Drupal?

We look at well-known sites that are built with Drupal, the advantages when compared to other systems, the upcoming developments in Drupal, and ofcourse we look at what you can do with it.

Drupal is known to have a steep lurningcurve. Once you get over that and "get it', things go a lot quicker. That's why we'll be setting up our first Drupal website in the workshop.

Proposed planning:

  • 09:30 Doors open, coffee
  • 10:00 Introduction, sharing experiences. Deciding on that we want to build exactly. For example, look at the "16 clones you can build with drupal" link below.
  • 12:00 Lunch
  • 13:00 Hands-on
  • 16:30 What did we learn
  • 17:00 Drinks
  • 17:30 End
