Internet memes are one of SETUP's themes of 2012. They're not just quirky, sometimes they can be surprisingly deep. And in any case, they are a wonderful new form that reflects the times.

What would an exhibit look like if you 'apply the internet to it'? In our upcoming event Expo Extravaganza we try to find out.

When I studied at the HKU some years ago one of my teachers kept repeating one thing. "If you write for the internet", he said, "make sure you practise chunking": write short paragraphs. It allows your readers to race through your text, because internet people are FAST.
